More info Influenza vaccinations are funded for those who meet the eligibility criteria. Funded influenza vaccinations are available for kids 3-12 years old, pregnant people, people aged 65 years and older, Maori and Pacific peoples aged 55 to 64 years, people aged 36 months to under 65 years with eligible conditions and tamariki aged 4 years or under who have been hospitalised for respiratory illness (including measles) or have a history of significant respiratory illness.

If you are under 65 years of age, you are also able to receive the FLUCELVAX this year.
Flucelvax® Quad is suitable for people 6 months and over. A cell-based flu vaccine, it is
designed to be an exact match to the circulating flu strains. It has consistently provided
better protection against flu over 3 consecutive flu seasons, showing 5-19% greater vaccine
effectiveness compared to the standard flu vaccine. Flucelvax Quad is effective and well
tolerated in pregnant women.

If you are 65 years of age or over, you are able to receive the FLUAD Quad Flu Vaccine this year. The FLUAD Quad contains MF95 Adjuvant and this assists your body in creating more antibodies to help fight influenza viruses. This is not funded and will cost $40. Whooping Cough Vaccination - Unfunded

More info Whooping cough can be serious for young babies who may catch it from their family. It can be easily passed on by coughing and sneezing, with a person with whooping cough being infectious a week before their symptoms begin to 3 weeks after.
The vaccine offers protection against the infectious disease and it is important you keep to update with vaccinations to ensure your whanau are protected.
Those who may be eligible for funding include pregnant women ( recommended after 16/17 weeks gestation, people over 45 who may require a booster, people over 65 who may require additional booster) View less

MMR - Vaccination

More info MMR vaccine assists in protecting you against measles, mumps and rubella. Just one dose of MMR provides you with a 95% chance of protection. Measles, mumps and rubella can be spread easily through an infected person coughing, talking or sneezing.

This vaccine is funded for children aged under 18 years and adults born 1 January 1969 or later who do not have not two documented doses of MMR vaccine given from 12 months of age and a minimum of 4 weeks apart. View less

More info We are able to provide those travelling overseas with evidence of a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must be done 24 hours before you travel. To get a supervised antigen test for travel you must make sure you have no COVID-19 symptoms. Also remember to bring your passport to your appointment!
The test is $60, however, if you bring your own RAT this will be $50.

Philips Pharmacy Sleep Service

More info Sleep apnoea can be diagnosed with an overnight at-home sleep test called a ‘polysomnogram’ or ‘sleep study’. You can hire the appropriate equipment to perform the test at home; the machine will monitor your blood oxygen levels, brain activity, heart rate, and breathing.

The results are uploaded from the testing device and emailed to a sleep specialist (a doctor) who makes the diagnosis. In some cases, the patient may be required to visit a sleep specialist for more tests. We can also give you advice on managing the condition and making improvements to your sleep quality.
